Ochsner Career Support 🤝

As an Ochsner Health employee, you have free access to the career resources offered by the Ochsner Career Center. The Career Center's purpose is to help individuals explore pathways that use their current skills, find education and training opportunities, and create a personalized career plan.

Who should use the Career Center?

  • Employees searching for growth and development opportunities
  • Employees who have obtained their degree and desire to use those new abilities

What resources are available?

  • Career Coaching - We recommend meeting with an Ochsner Career Coach early on in your degree journey so that you know exactly what you might need to do to better position yourself for the role you want after graduation.
  • Workday Learning - We recommend checking Workday's topics and courses in case there are any that relate to the team/role you are interested in.
  • Mentorship Program - We recommend becoming a mentor if you are interested in becoming a first-time manager and need more experience (must be employed by Ochsner for at least 1 year and not on progressive discipline).

If you want to start working with an Ochsner Career Coach, send an email to mycareer@ochsner.org, complete the intake form that will be sent to you, and then use the link provided to schedule a session.
