Rivet School is currently partnering with Braven, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering first generation and underrepresented students gain the skills, confidence, and network necessary to transition from college to meaningful careers and lives of impact. BravenX is a free 14-week fellowship program that starts in the Fall (end of August) and the Spring (end of January). You’ll dedicate an estimated total of 4 hours per week on this program. You’ll meet virtually with your cohort of other college students once a week for 2 hours and spend an additional 2 hours on preparation and project work. As a Braven fellow you will:
- Explore your values and career interests
- Build professional connections within your cohort
- Create a career plan
- Refine your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile
- Practice interviewing with professionals
- Network and apply to jobs
- Participate in a capstone challenge with the chance to pitch your solutions to a real company
Upon completion, you’ll receive a $500 stipend and ongoing support from your Leadership Coach as you work towards your career goals. If you’re interested, talk to your College Coach or fill out this Career Coaching Request Form!
