Canva has over 18,000 resume templates that you can edit for free. We don’t recommend using Canva if you’re applying to large employers who tend to use applicant tracking systems (ATS) that read resumes automatically. Instead, use these templates if you are applying for a small company or more creative roles. Keep in mind that some of the templates include a space for a photo of yourself, but this is not a standard practice in the US so it can be omitted.
To create a resume template in Canva, start with a source document of all the text you'd ideally like to fit into your resume. Then, fit what you can onto the template you've chosen, and don't worry about moving the design elements around to fit the sections you want on your resume.
